304 Views Yesterday! High Total Views

I am glad to have reached 300 views yesterday. And it was 5 days after Christmas, too.

I finished the tuesday with 304 views from Etsy search and more than 1,600 total views.

With 3 orders. Tea cups, of course.  One of them I don't think I'll find.

Google views were only 5th on my list of traffic sources with 49.  140 "Other" views

So tomorrow I might make a trip to a Red, White & Blue store.

If not, I will take pics if its sunny in the morning and pack orders. Maybe the Y.

I finished yesterday, a monday, with 281 views from Etsy search, nearly 1.600 total views and 3 orders with a 4 order right after midnight.

Only 36 from Google.

299 Views Yesterday, a sunday; More than 1,700 Total Views

It was an active sunday in my shop. I finished with 299 views from Etsy search and 1,753 total views.

40 Google views and 171 "Other" views.

1 order for 2 of my hand painted green items from Bavaria. It is about time I sold them.  I've had them listed for a couple years or more. And they are very nice and unique.

I have so many orders to find, pack and ship still. Will have to cancel the Bailey tea cup and brooch.

296 Views Yesterday; First Day of December with No Sale

Yesterday, a saturday, was an active day in my shop with 296 views from Etsy search and more than 1,400 total views.

Also, 42 views from Google and 181 "Other" views. Which are indirect Google views?

No sales though.

The first day all month that I did not make a sale.

December was my highest revenue month of the year, but not my highest revenue for a 30 day period.

I am happy with the month.  I did much better than I expected. So many orders every day. I never got caught up. I am STILL not caught up.  So that's a good thing, actually. lol.

Almost time for bed. Maybe workout tomorrow.

250 Views Yesterday; 360 Views Last Year!

So I still think yesterday was a pretty good day in my shop. Pretty active for the day after Christmas.

I finished yesterday with 250 views from Etsy search, more than 1,600 total views and 3 small orders.

Then I checked for the same day, dec 26th, of last year, and man, what a difference.  I had 360 views from Etsy search last dec 26th. Dissappointing.  BUT, only 2 even very small orders and only 986 total views.

So I guess it's a trade off ?? Or, Etsy search views won't come back to being high like last year??

Well, I have orders to find, pack and ship. I will probably have to cancel a few though.

High Views in the Midnight Hour? High Views Today then?

Here at 12:40am I already have 16 views from Etsy search.  That is noticeably higher than in the past week when I'd be in the single digits.

It still could drop off big time after 2am until about 9am.

It is looking good so far. I should be over 200 views from Etsy search today.

191 Views Yesterday on Christmas day

I finished yesterday, december 25th, with 191 views from Etsy search.

Last year I had 238.

In 2012 I had 243. With HUNDREDS fewer listings.

In 2011 I had 122.  That was before the major change of the search box in july 2012.

Yesterday I also had 1,077 total views.

Only 178 Views Yesterday on Christmas Eve

I finished yesterday with 178 views from Etsy search. And 1 sale.

So views are down now that Christmas is here.

I am curious what 2015 holds for my shop.

I don't think I can equal what I did this year. And definitely not surpass it. If I could at least equal what I did in 2013, I guess I could accept that.

Only 198 Views Yesterday!!! 1st Time below 200 Since aug or sept!!

Wow. I finished yesterday, 2 days before Christmas wtih only 198 views from Etsy search. And just more than 1,100 total views.

2 small sales.

Last year, 2013, I had 269 views from Etsy search. With hundreds fewer listings.

In 2012 I had 256 views from Etsy search. With HUNDREDS fewer listings.

I still have orders to find and pack and ship!

Recent Negatives that are Bugging Me

So I mistakenly wrote out the wrong Priority Express form for a package and it cost me $40!! I have to refund that shipping the buyer paid.

I broke a very nice handing chandelier! I had it in the garage fora  while and it had 3 very nice green & gold glass shades! I heard it break when I was out there recently and didn't look until I saw it yesterday!

I missed out on a great Royal Sealy pink & white bird handle tea cup!  It went for only $5.50!!

I am sure there are a few other things about mys hop bugging me. But those are on my mind now.

Only 223 Views Yesterday

So I finished yesterday, 3 days before Christmas, with only 223 views from Etsy search.   More than 1,300 total views and 3 orders.

On dec 22nd of 2013 I had 275 views from Etsy search. only 797 total views and 2 orders for  much less revenue.

So I am not sure what to make of views. Since sales are most important along with revenue.

I am expecting search views to not come back like they did last year after Christmas.

I finished with 230 views from Etsy search yesterday, a sunday before Christmas. And more than 1,500 total views.  5 orders.

Views are down today. But a couple decent sales.

Only 200 Views Yesterday!! The Lowest Since Aug or Sept!

Wow. I finished with only 200 views from Etsy search yesterday, a saturday before Christmas.

That is not a good sign.  Views will not come back after Christmas like they did last year.

Well, the Christmas rush is over.  The spike in visitors for Christmas is over.

I am now back to where I was in august and september.

1 good tea cup sale for 2 valuable tea cups.  1 I have to find and ship TODAY for Christmas delivery..  I doubt I will find it though.

The sun has come out!  First time in at least a WEEK!

Wow. I finished yesterday, a thursday before Christmas with only 225 views from Etsy search.
And only 1,071 TOTAL views. Wow.

So my Etsy search views have dropped. Probably until the spring or near valentine's day.

The october surge is gone. Probably won't be repeated until next fall or Christmas time.

I ended today, a wed the week before Christmas, with only 266 views from Etsy search. And only 1,215 total views.

Still have to find several orders. That are late. And need to make it for next week.

I might go try to find more of the Limoges tea cups tomorrow.

Views are lower this month than in OCTOBER.

Here at 12:50am I already have 30 views from Etsy search.

But similar things have been happening. I get around 20 search views by 1am.  Then still wake up with only 55-70 or so.

I had only 250 views from Etsy search yesterday. Only 10 days before Christmas. THat is disappointing.

BUT......I had record high total views! I finished with 2,181 total views!  That is the highest ever for not being featured somewhere on Etsy. And for not being on the forums.

And 8 orders.

It was a very active sunday before Christmas yesterday. I finished with 352 views from Etsy search, 11 orders, nearly 2,000 total views at 1,946 and 47 Google views.

I really have orders to pack & ship.

I did ship the lamp today. Finally. Hope it makes it.

So I finished yesterday, a saturday before Christmas, with 302 views from Etsy search.

And it was a record number of total views.  The highest I have ever had without being featured somewhere or been on the forums.

I finished with 2,083 total views.  Glad to have reached that.

50 from Google. 134 "Other" views.

And......442 Etsy App views. A new high, I believe.

I have orders to pack tomorrow to ship on monday. And I want to get some new pics taken too.

So views have dropped. And still a week or more of Christmas shopping left.

I am guessing Etsy search views will not go up after Christmas as they did last year.

There is probably just this weekend left. And maybe a few days next week.

I can probably expect views to not spike up like last year after Christmas when they were actually higher right AFTER Christmas, and for 4 months, than they were for the month to two months before Christmas.

I still have orders to pack.  I might make it.  I might get that lamp shipped and even the table!

Search views are noticeably lower than OCTOBER.

Ordesr are high for this month and last month. I have many more than last year at the same time.

I just checked and saw that I had 63 views from Google yesterday.  The most in a while.

I also had 193 views from "Other" which are indirect Google views?? If so, that is the highest views from "Other" I've had.

386 Views Yesterday; Nearly 2,000 total views; I missed a great tea cup on Ebay!

So I finished yesterday, the first sunday in december, as one of my highest search and total view days of the year.

I finished with 386 views from Etsy search, 1,982 total views and 5 orders.

I got a bunch of pics taken of new tea cups and got some listed.

Tonight I missed a great tea cup on Ebay!  A corset shape hand painted daisies tea cup that went for only $11!  I am mad about that.

I have so many orders to pack and ship. AND I have to dig out the chair and take it to Greyhound.  This would probably be my only chance to sell it. So I definitely should do that. I've had it listed for YEARS.

Here at 12:04pm I have 145 views from etsy search.  That is the highest in WEEKS. Views were steadily this high in october.  Then have gradually dropped since november.

I also have 805 total views.  Glad to see that.

Only 2 small sales though.

I guess I have decisions to make.

Only 264 Views Yesterday! But Very High This Morning!

Wow. I finished yesterday with only 264 views from Etsy search. Although it was an active day for sales with 5 orders.

Now here at only 8:17am I already have 104 views from etsy search.  That is the highest in weeks. I think one other time recently I had 100 views by 10am.

Search views are much lower than october.  That is disappointing.  But sales are steady and I really have to work to get caught up.

It was a very active day for sales.  But I finished with only 297 views from Etsy search.

Etsy search views are lower than november and much lower than october.

Just have to deal with whatever views & sales I get.

And see what the next year holds.  Not sure I will be open.  If I am, I doubt I can equal this year. Or even last year. I hope I'd make a third of what I made this year.

It was a very busy day in my shop yesterday, a sunday before Thanksgiving.  I finished with 378 views from Etsy search AND 1,973 total views.  One of my highest total view days without being featured somewhere.

2 sales. Including a chair. Which will be a nice profit and fairly easy to ship.

54 Google views AND 185 "Other" views.  That is nice to see, I think.  All those indirect Google views. Highest ever?

But now this morning at 9:11am I have only 60 views from Etsy search.  Might not make 300 today. Or it will be close.

I have so much to do iwht my shop and  other things. SO many orders to pack & ship, including the painting and the chair to Greyhound.  And laundry and Join the Y and other things.

And today has rebounded nicely, view-wise.  But only 1 sale of 2 tea cups. I probably priced them too low. Another reseller bought them.

I finished yesterday, a thursday, with 305 views from Etsy search.  2 orders. For ok revenue.

Also had more than 1,300 total views.  Which is low I think for as many listing as I have.  I was averaging that many views when I had about 600-700 listings in the spring of 2012.

I might not make it to 300 today. It will be close again.

1 book sale today.

I did find some great tea cups on ebay. I have spent so much money today and lately.

Low Views This AM; The Faux Fur Coat sold, so Search Views will take a big hit

Here at 11:42 am I have only 89 views from Etsy search!  The lowest since september.

AND...the faux fur coat sold.  And that has been ALOT of Etsy search views each day for months. And last fall and winter, too.

So I shouldn't be watching my search views so closely.  Just at the end of the day. AND, I should expect a noticeable drop and even days of less than 300.  And no 400 days either.

Although Etsy search views are lower than october, too.  Just as I suspected they would be.

I have been having more than 100 views from Etsy search at noon.  And even around 70-80 by 8am.

Here this morning at 7:43am I have only 47 views from Etsy search!  A decline of 20-30.

I did just make a decent tea cup sale.

It will be a busy day!  Trying to get everythign packed and shipped.

And 4 good sales.  It was a day of good revenue.

I finished yesterday, a sunday, with 391 views from Etsy search. I didn't make a sale until late at night. And finished with 3 tea cup sales.

I thought it was going to be a drop in Etsy search views, but it picked up in the evening and at night.

493 views from "ETSY APP". That's visitors who are using mobile devices.

I also finished with one of my  highest total view days ever.  It probably is my highest total view day ever.  The highest for not being featured some where or having posted on the forums.

Drop in Views Today, a Sunday; High Total Views

Here at 8:56 am I have only 68 views from Etsy search.  That is much lower than the beginning of october.  And even lower than most of october.

So there was some reason views were so high the beginning of october???  It had to do with Etsy??

I am still in the 300's, but I had 3 or 4 days of 400+ views in october and I do not think I will have that many again this year, and it is the beginning of the Christmas shopping season. For online, anyway.

I do have 497 total views before 9am though.

I have things to do today.  Take pics? outside? List new? Supermarket? Organize?

Here at 12:39 am I already have gotten 150 listing views in the past 39 minutes!

I remember when I was averaging abotu 225 views per DAY. And a high view day would be about 325.

It is mostly because I have so many listings.  And also so many tea cups, something the women love.

I finished yesterday, a saturday, with 383 views from Etsy search, 1,778 total views.  Those total views are very high for me.  The highest without having been promoted some way or been on the forums.

145 Views at Noon; High Total Views

So I should have expected.  It is a ssaturday and views are higher today.

Here at 12 noon I have 145 views from Etsy search.  With 4 orders.

I also have 658 Total views.  Glad to see that.  People are browsing a little.

I got some pics taken.  Some of them are dark and blurry and that bugs me.  I don't get perfect lighting conditions often and when I miss out, it bugs me.

So I finished yesterday with 351 views from Etsy search and only 35 google views.

39 Pinterest views.  Not as high as the summer.  About half as many.  Pinterest is not ranking high in Google searches any more??

1,327 Total views.  3 orders. Ok revenue.

I've grown 12.5% so far this year!  In sept I was thinking I might only grow 10% for the year, but then had a great october.  Now it is looking as though 25% is possible.  

A couple orders to pack & ship.  The chair to ship on monday.  And more tea cups to ship to canada next week as part of the large order.

Lower Views; 101 views at 11am, becauseof the faux fur coat

So views are lower this month than last month.  Except for the faux fur coat.

I was reaching 100 views from Etsy search by 8-10 for the beginning of october.  Here at 11am I have only 101 views from Etsy search.  AND 11 of those are for the faux fur coat.

This is what I expected.  I knew the record high views for october were too good.  Too good to last.

Sales have been decent these first 7 days though.

318 Views Yesterday, Because of the Faux Fur Coat

I finished yesterday with 318 views from Etsy search, and I owe that to the 27 views from Etsy search my Sassoon faux fur coat got.

Otherwise, I'd have been below 300.

So views are looking lower than last month.  Even though I have more Etsy search views for the first 4 days of this month compared to last month.

It is looking like there will be a drop in views.  That views for nov & dec will be lower than oct.  Just as I suspected.  Oct was too good to last.  Too good to be true.

I have orders to take to greyhound today. I have to make 2 trips. For low net profits and not enough shipping costs paid. Oh well. It was tithe money.

I finished yesterday, a monday, with 348 views from etsy search.  And 5 orders. For an ok amount of revenue.

It appears as though views are going to be lower than october.  AND it is the beginning of the holiday shopping season??  Christmas is only 6 weeks away.

It is a high view day and a day with a good amount of revenue and orders.

I was going to track my views at 11pm, but I am about to go to bed.  At 11pm it would be a full day.  Since we turned the clocks back an hour at 2am.

But I won't know how many search views I have then.

So I will just keep this record and go to bed.

I finished yesterday, a saturday, with 326 views from Etsy search, more than 1,300 total views and 3 sales.

52 from Google. 106 "Other views".

Only 262 Views Yesterday! And Below 300 Today, too?

Well, yesterday was halloween. Maybe that affected people searching in the evening?  But I finished yesterday with my lowest search view total since sept with only 262 views from Etsy search.

And here right before 9am I have only 67 views from Etsy search.

I have orders to pack & ship and shopping to do.

Low Views Today! Only in the mid 200's! Lowest all month!

Here at 8:50pm I have only 206 views from Etsy search!  Easily the lowest all month.  I will probably end today in the mid 200's!

Only 1 small sale, too.

I still have orders to pack and ship.

311 Views Yesterday

I did make it to 300 views yesterday.  Even though it looked like I wouldn't.  I finished the thursday with 311 views from Etsy search, more than 1,300 total views and 3 orders.

It is still disappointing that I had only 33 views from Google!  Wow.

I have orders to pack and ship today.  Tea cups, of course.

Probably less than 300 Views Today!

For only the 2nd time this month.

Here right before 10pm at 9:56 I have only 268 views from Etsy search. And 25 of those are from my faux fur coat.  If not for that, I would not even be close to 300.

It has still been a fairly productive day.  Got some orders packed & shipped. Got some thigns taken care of outside.  Did some shopping.

I have orders still to pack & ship. Including the coffee table and chair.  Hope they make it. Wish I charged enough shipping.

352 Views on wed & 323 Views Yesterday

So I finished with more than 300 views from Etsy search on tuesday and wed.  Views are staying high.

But....I really owe that to my faux fur coat.  It is getting more than 40 search views each day.

It would have sold by now, but it needs cleaned.  And that would be expensive..

I still have orders to pack and ship.  I might actually get the glass top for the coffee table to Philly safely!  I've been packing it tonight and I think I did a great job making a corrugated sandwich.

346 Views Yesterday, Because of my Sassoon faux fur coat

I finished yesterday, a monday, with 346 views from Etsy search.  And that was because I had 49 search views for my faux fur coat.

I also had only 1,334 total views.

Only 46 google views.

It was a fairly productive day.  I got some orders shipped, pics taken, a couple sales and got a couple large heavy, fragile items packed tonight. And it was a beautiful sunny day for most of the day.

I shouldn't have lowered my price on my chair. I had it for $250 and lowered it to $190.  And it last night.

406 Views Yesterday, a Sunday!

It was an ok day in my Etsy shop yesterday.  I finished with 406 views from Etsy search, 1,570 total views and 4 sales.  3 things to the one lady and a good tea cup sale.

46 from Google.  117 Other views.

I still have orders to find and pack.

And outdoors projects for today.

138 Views Just past 12 Noon

It is looking to be another 300 view day.  I have 138 views from Etsy search at 12:13pm.

On person bought 3 things separately right after midnight.  I guess they were browsing and just kept picking things out and buying them instead of adding them to their cart and buying them all at once.

I still have orders to pack!  Large, fragile items.  Big tea cup orders.

And outdoor things to do.  And the weather will be changing on tuesday and wed!

373 Views Yesterday!

Views jumped back up yesterday.  It was a saturday though.  That is the way it has been. Saturday and sunday are usually my high view days

I finished yesterday with 373 views from Etsy search, only 1,319 total views and 4 orders for a decent amount of revenue.

Only 34 google views.  Still disappointing.  Probably from my repeating words in my titles and repeating the title as the first line in my description.

200 Views right before 3:30pm

I have 200 views from Etsy search right at 3:29pm.  It should be a 300 view day.

It has been a godo day of sales.  3 good sales for a good amount of revenue.  BUT....

I did not charge enough shipping for the painting. AND I don't think I charge enough for the cat figurine either.  Ggrrrrr. lol

I did make it to 300 views from Etsy search yesterday.  It was probably because I wrote about it. lol.

I finished yesterday, a friday, with 303 views from Ety search, 1,571 total views and 2 small sales.

51 from Google and 101 "Other" views. So even with all the hundreds of additional listings, and if "other" views are indirect google views, my Google views have not increased much at all.  I guess I can't expect much from Google. .

Today will be LESS than 300 Views, TOO!

Here at 9:24pm I have only 246 views from Etsy search.  My search views/hour is only about 8 or less.

So I will have only about 270 views form Etsy search today!  Wow.

It was a very good day for my shop.

I finished yesterday with 248 views from Etsy search and 4 sales.

The end of the month actually seems better for sales than the beginning???

Only 48 views from Google yesterday.  Still disappointing a year later.

I have made 2 small sales early after midnight and I have 139 views from Etsy search here at 12:03pm. 13 from google

Views are staying high.  I am wondering when they will drop.  That will be sad and very disappointing.

Wow. Etsy search views are staying high.  I finished yesterday, a tuesday, with 394 views from Etsy searcy!  And 1,414 total views.

And a great tea cup order of 13 tea cups for a nice amount of revenue.  To Canada.  And he wants them only shipped 2 at a time.  That is helpful to me, too.

Only 30 Google views.  I had a recent day of 64, but other than that, they have gone down.
"Other" views yesterday were only 84.

It was a productive day though.  I worked a couple hours, too.

I woke up this morning to 2 sales.  That was nice to see.

I finished yesterday, a sunday, with 417 views from Etsy search and 1,717 total views.

Only 1 sale though. A tea cup.  After nearly 9 years of selling and all the tithes and seeds. I guess I have choices to make.

All of these hundreds and hundreds of extra search views really don't mean anything.  They are not translating into sales.

Even in june with the record low search views I was making regular sales. More than now.

I should work on my shop LESS.

Here at 12 noon I have 147 views from Etsy search.  And 525 total views.

And I just sold a nice tea cup.

It is a cool day. I should have brought the credenza in when it was warm this week.

I have work to do outside and in.

I am glad that this morning after midnight, a sunday, that I already have 52 views from Etsy search here at 2:35am!

417 Views Yesterday! High Total Views

Wow. I am very glad to have finished yesterday, a saturday, with 417 views from Etsy search.

It was a day of high total views with 1,691.

I had 2 orders.  1 was a very good one of 5 valuable items. And only to New York state, too. Not international.  I feel much better about shipping a large box of large fragile items there than internationally.

Today, laundry? Take pics? Go to the thrift store? Organize? Inside work? Outside work? bring in credenza? Put chairs outside?

I have a busy day ahead of me.

Here after midnight at 12:28am I have only 2 TWO views from Etsy search!

It was a high view day yesterday, a friday.  I finished with 340 views from Etsy search.  Higher than I thought.

And I finished with 1,873 total views!  Wow.  That's high for me.

And 4 sales.  2 of them were books.

Here at 4:50pm I have 203 views from Etsy search!  Glad to be this high. I did not expect it. It should be anotehr 300 view day. That will keep the streak for this month going.  Every day has been more than 300 views from Etsy search.

Time for some outdoor work while the weather is nice.  Then order packing and shipping by noon tomorrow.

306 Views Yesterday; Even More of a Drop Today?

So yesterday I did finish with 306 views from etsy search.  A drop from 400 the previous day.

And now here at 1:26 am I have only 13 views from Etsy search.  So it is more of a drop and I won't reach 300 today??  For the first time ALL MONTH??

I am just waiting for my views to drop again.  This has been too good. And Etsy messes with things.

1 Sale for $8 so far Today

Wow. I have paid all my tithes and then some.

Here today right after 9 pm I have made 1 sale, a book, for $8.

After nearly 9 YEARS of selling and working on selling and working on my shop EVERY DAY I have made $8 in sales today.

I keep donating more than 10%, too.

Donating more than 10% has not benefited me much. I've had to donate so much just to make sales.

People were on ebay in the 90's, and probably without tithing, and making as much as I made last year and might make this year.

So I should just go back to the TITHE ONLY.

I have even been recommending to people to tithe and more.

Glad to have reached 400 Views from Etsy search yesterday.  With only 2 sales though.

Today, wow, it is looking like a big drop.....here at 9:23am I have only 76 views from Etsy search!
Wow. That is the lowest ALL MONTH.

I finished yesteday with 371 views from Etsy search.  But "only" 1,385 total views.

I have hundreds of extra visitors, but they are not browsing my shop.

I am really at where I was in the spring of 2013 when I had HUNDREDS fewer listings.  Back then I had 600-700 listings. And even then I would still be in the mid to upper 200's AND have a lot of days in the 300's.

Now, with hundreds more listings, I have hundreds more Etsy search views, but the same number of total views.

Only the 1 tea cup order for 2 tea cups yesterday.

All the tithing and seeding is not really translating into sales either.

HHhhhmmm.......I have decisions to make.

Wow. I am still impressed by how high my views are.

Yesterday I finished with 409 views from Etsy search, 1,586 total views and the 1 tea cup sale.

Today has been a good day.  Good a good number of orders shipped, my friend treated me to lunch, then worked at her home, got paid, and came home to a nice sale of 2 tea cups.

Still have orders to pack and ship. Work the next 2 days with another friend and friday at the grounds keeping job.

Have to make it through the next 24 hours+ of rain!

I am glad to have reached 300 views from Etsy search at 7:44pm.  Onlly the 1 sale right after midnight though.

All of these hundreds and hundreds of extra search views are really not equaling sales.  I was making good sales in june with record LOW views.

I got some orders packed.  Most of them.  Didn't get any new pics taken.  Work tomorrow. I won't get to take any new pics until saturday.

And 62 Google views.  The highest in a while.  With 110 "Other" views.

I also got a good number of pics taken.  Most of them turned out very good and good enough to use.

It was a productive day.

I am very glad to have gotten so many views from Etsy search yesterday!  I finished yesterday, a saturday, with 357 views from Etsy search.

No sales though.

And only 1,301 total views.

I have having 1,100-1,500 total views when I had 600-800 listings.

But I believe it is all because of the new listing page from august 2013.  It is not as easy for people to browse our shops now.  They are held captive in the one section and page.  Nothing I can do about that. I already have links to shop sections & my shop home page in each listing.

I have many shop things to do today.

Glad to have reached 300 views from Etsy search yesterday AGAIN.  I finished with 316 views from Etsy search AND 1,772 TOTAL views. Wow. Very nice.

3 orders.  For only a decent amount of revenue.  No big revenue days recently.

I am having a good ocotober though.  Better than last october.

I still have a lot of orders to pack, to find and pack.

And a lot of different, new items to take pics of.   If I even should. I really don't sell much. I don't sell much furniture or lamps or art. Or jewelry. Or books.

Wow. I did not think I'd make 300 views from Etsy search yesterday when I had only about 95 at noon.  But I finished yesterday, a thursday, with 337 views from Etsy search!  Very glad about that.

I also finished with 1,722 total views!  Wow. That is a lot for me! It is about a record high for not having one item get recognition or some attention for my shop in a team or forum post.

Only 31 from Google. Disappointing.  110 "Other" views.

Only 10% Growth This Year

I am on pace to grow only about 10% more than last year.  That is not that much at all. I grew by 100% each year for my first 3 years.

I hope I can equal what I did each of the past 2 years in 2015. It is a lot of work to earn as much and make as many sales as I have made each of the past 2 years.

I spent A LOT of money to make as much and as many sales as I did this year. I spent it ALL. To only about equal what I made last year.

I spent A LOT EVERY YEAR to make what I have made. AND I worked EVERY SINGLE DAY on my shop. I did NOT take one day off all year. I always did SOMETHING shop related each day.  And lived in a cluttered house.

But 10% growth is disappointing.

I might be better off getting a job.  Then I'd have my freedom and more cash. And wouldn't have to spend it all.

Get a job and an apartment???

It's fun shopping though.

I have only 67 views from Etsy search at 8:48am.  Which, overall, is still good.  But way less than I have been having the past few days for some reason.

Still have made 3 sales/2 orders already.

I have so much to do today and I did not get much sleep. I am tired.  I could use some sleep.

Wow.  Theses so high views are still impressing me and making me wonder WHY???

I am very glad to have reached 399 views from Etsy search yesterday.  But with only 1 sale for 2 items.

All of these HUNDREDS of extra Etsy search views have not been translating into sales though.

I also finished yesterday with 1,597 Total Views!  One of the highest total view day without any type of outside activity.

Only 32 views from Google! 107 "Other" views.
And Google views were FIFTH on my traffic sources list!
For a while they were always second.

I have so much to do tomorrow.

It was a VERY productive day today!

I made a sale in the morning.  To go with the other nice sales I have been making the past week and a half.

I go to work with a friend to help with her yard work and before we go to her place we stop at the thrift store and I got 2 very nice chairs, 2 very nice watercolor paintings, 2 cool vintage drinking glasses, and a nnice poetry book!

Then she buys me lunch.

We work at her house and it goes well and get the work accomplished.

Then I get to meet the young neighbor kids and alex.  Have a nice talk in the breakfast room while waiting for the nice sausage she is making me.

I go play candyland with the young boy.

Then Alex talks about my tea and they all leave.

I have a very good sausage dinner she made for me.

On the ride home, she pays me generously and then we stop back at the thrift store and.....the cookie jar is still there!  And I buy it thanks to my lady friend!

And I come home to very high views in the 300's again!  And a request to look at my chairs.

Then...I find and buy a beautiful pink Aynsley fleur de lis tea cup!

Wow.  It has been such a productive day.  I am not sure why??? After as mad as I got recently things have still worked out well for me.

I am looking forward to tomorrow:  taking pics, packing & shipping my orders, maybe a chair sale and nice weather, thanks to the angels.

I hopefully will be able to get some sleep tonight.  And be able to enjoy tomorrow.

WOW.  I had 467 views from Etsy search yesterday!  Wow.

Never thought I'd see that many.  Never thought I'd reach 400 again. Never thought I'd pass my previous high of 441. I did that with HUNDREDS fewer listings, too.

I have 301 views from Etsy search at only 6:27pm!  Very glad to reach that.  It is encouraging.  At least for the near term.

Only 1 small sale.  A silver brooch that I sold too low. I did not raise my price and it probably was worth 50% more.

I should get very close to 400 views again.  I am guessing I will reach 375.

I am very glad to reach 153 views from Etsy search at 12 noon!  With 158 listing views in the 11 o'clock hour!  And 543 total views.

No sales though.

I am kinda not wanting all these high views.  Because I believe I will be very let down and disappointed.  I believe they will drop ALOT some time, maybe this year even, and then I will be so mad and disappointed and discouraged again.  

I believe these high views are TEMPORARY. And that my shop is not growing. Not growing view-wise at least.

I have to organize a little and get teh credenza outside to get it looked at this evening.  I am guessing they are just being nosey and want to look.

Glad to still be having high Etsy search views!  Here at 12 noon I have 143 views from Etsy search.  WIth 449 total views. And...I just sold my nice Aynsley Bailey tea cup I just listed only a day ago.  But I spent almost all of that money on ebay. lol.

WOw. I finished with 435 views from Etsy search yesterday!  Glad to see that!  It is so early too!!  Only the first week of october.

BUT, I reached my record high search view total of 441 with HUNDREDS LESS listings!

NO SALES though.  Only 1 sale that I will have to cancel.

All those search views, 36 hours worth of record high views, and no sales.

It was an ok day.  I got some pics taken.  The pics of tea cups turned out pretty good. The book choices weren't that good. Pack and ship orders tomorrow. And laundry?

I am very glad to have reached 173 views from Etsy search here at 12 noon!  Witih 553 total views.

My previous record high was 167. I believe that was last spring?

This high views have been happening SO EARLY.  Only sept  & october.

It makes me wonder if they will just end up dropping before Christmas???  This month? Or next month??
Or after Christmas??

No sales today though, with all the abnormally, record high search views.

Wow.  This is the earliest I have reached 100 views from Etsy search since at least the first quarter of this year and maybe since the spring of LAST YEAR.

I had 100 views from Etsy search at 6:59am.

My record I think is 167 at 12 noon.

I have gotten some tea cup pics taken when I just got the sunshine.  Now it is cloudy again.  I will try to take some more pics of different things and list things other than tea cups today.

Wow.  I reached 393 views from Etsy search yesterday!  Easily the highest search view day since april.  And probably before then.  If I even reached that high the first quarter of this year.

I know my highest Etsy search view of day of all-time is 441.  Maybe I will reach that this year???

I also have 1,560 total views!

BUT....I had 3 orders by 11am yesterday.  And with all those search views the rest of the day, it did not translate into sales.

And here nearly 12 hours later, with a very high search view morning, still no sales.

And only 48 views from Google.  But more than 100 "Other" views.

I got 347 views from Etsy search yesterday!  Just over 1,200 total views.

This morning there is a drop.  Only 89 views from Etsy search at 10am.

I am very glad to have finished with SO MANY views from Etsy search yesteray!  AGAIN. And SO EARLY!  It is only OCTOBER!

That does make me wonder?????

Maybe views will get worse at Christmas????  And then drop off back to where they were in the spring??? Maybe next summer will be as bad, view-wise, as this summer????

I have 242 views from Etsy search at 7:07pm.  But only 1 tea cup sale that was right after midnight.

It was a drop in search views yesterday to 273 views from Etsy search. Only 38 Google Views! I wonder why they dropped??? And won't come back. 100 "Other" views.  Indirect Google views? Google image views?

It was a good day of sales though. Plus I worked. Another tea cup sale this morning.

So I will see what I can get shipped today after my grounds keeping job.  And try to ship everything tomorrow morning for sure.

The weather will change later today and tomorrow and this weekend. I am not prepared.

A Good Day of Sales

I sold 10 things today in 7 orders.  For a decent amount of revenue.

The past 7 days have been a big jump in revenue compared to that 7-8 day period the previous week. Wow.

It was looking like I wouldn't make any more sales at all.

Still not sure how the rest of the year will be.  I might not make it to Christmas.  Oh well, if I don't.

Maybe try to ship some orders early tomorrow.

So I am glad to have reached 205 views from Etsy search, with 2 sales, here just past 12 noon at 12:05pm.

I have also gotten some pics taken.  Most of them turned out good and usable.

For one very pretty aynsley tea cup that I've had for a while, when I went to take pics I see  a small brown crack in it.  That kinda bugs me.  I don't know if the seller mentioned that when I bought. I don't think so.

Those ebay people are getting on my nerves.

You would think they are all competent and professional, but, no, they are not.  A lot of there don't know what they are dong.  They just take pics and list an item.  Most of the time it does end in my good fortune though. lol

Almost time to go off to work for the day.  Don't really want to.  Don't want to be treated to lunch, but I will go.

20 Views in the Midnight Hour! WHY the Higher Views?

It is looking like it will be ANOTHER day with 300+ views from Etsy search.

I wonder WHY?????

They say views should be trending downward because of increased competition and more listings, but my views from Etsy search are HIGHER, by a large margin, than last sept.  AND my Etsy search views are even a lot higher than even last CHRISTMAS!

I have to find the art deco brooch I sold.  I did not even open it when I received it. And that was weeks ago. So I don't even know where it is.

So I am very glad to reach 124 views from Etsy search here at 12 noon.  It did not look like it would be this high.  Things had slowed down from 5-8apm with only 66 views from Etsy search after 8am, but then picked up alot the next few hours.

2 sales earlier after midnight.

I am trying to get my one big order packed.  I have others to pack,too. I think I can get them all shipped today.

I did have only 1,109 total views.  Not that many for so many search views.  That means visitors were NOT browsing my shop.  Hhhmmm.

326 Views Yesterday!

It was a fairly productive day yesterday.

I finished with 326 views from Etsy search and 51 from Google.  More than 1,200 total views.

I didn't expect to reach 300 when I saw my only 94 views at 12 noon.  But I made it.  Thanks to renewing my faux fur coat which got alot of search views after it was renewed....AND...right after 12 noon I got about 80 views from Etsy search in about a 3 hour period.

4 orders for a decent amount of revenue.

I got just about all of my orders packed & shipped, except for 1.  I was happy about that.

I did donate the extra 10% which I should NOT have.  That stops NOW. For good.

I will be putting much less time into my Etsy shop and trying my hand at Ebay.

I will let my listing expire. Not add new items. Pay the tithe ONLY. And take work when I can get it.

And last as long as I can.  Before I close up? And hit the road?  Time will tell.

Slight Drop in Views

I have 94 views from Etsy search here at 12 noon.  Less than I have been having for most of the month.

But I did make a couple good sales.  Internationals.

14 views from Google.  They are staying the same pretty much.  I had a few days in the 50's-71.  But the direct views are still 30's-50's.  

355 Views Yesterday!

Glad to have reached so many Etsy search views yesterday!  I finished with 355 and 1,275 total views.  But only 3 small sales.

I did just wake up to 3 more orders.  And probably a sale of a good tea cup. With the order of tea cups and a lamp later today?

Not all is lost, I guess. For now, anyway.

I am glad to have reached 257 views from Etsy search here at 7:04pm.  Nearly 1,000 total views. 2 small sales.

392 Views Yesterday! Nearly 1,500 Total Views! For only 2 small sales

Wow. Very glad to have reached 392 views from Etsy search yesterday!  With 1,473 Total views!
And 57 direct Google Views.

But only 2 small sales.

All those extra views for only $58 of revenue. Wow.

This is my lowest revenue month of the year AND october was my lowest revenue month last year.  So that is what I have to look forward to.

More than, 1800 MORE search views this sept than last sept for NOTHING.

More than 300 Views after 9pm; Only 2 Small Sales

So I already have 307 views from Etsy search at 9:10pm, but have made only 2 small sales.

Wow.  I have 1,800 MORE Etsy search views for the first 27 days of this month than in june, but I had 12 MORE orders and nearly $1,700 MORE revenue in JUNE!

June was RECORD LOW Etsy search views.  But I was making steady sales.

Just gotta wait it out.  Maybe close up.

Wow. This is the highest search view day at 3am that I can remember.  One of the highest for sure.

I should easily reach 300 views today.  My highest this month is 371.

27 Views in the Midnight Hour!!

Wow. Easily one of the highest midnight hours of the YEAR  It should be another day of 300 views from Etsy search.

Nearly 1,000 MORE views from Etsy search this sept compared to last year and LOWER revenue.  About the same number of orders.

All the search views have meant nothing.

2011 Level Revenue!!

Holy Heck!!!  I have to cancel the necklace sale.  So that means for the past 8 days I have grossed about $140 in sales!!!  HOLY HECK.  The lowest since 2011-12!!!

Wow.  I can't believe it.  I guess I should believe it.

So I am glad I was near 300 views yesterday as I finished with 296 from Etsy search and more than 1,200 total views.

Only 1 sale though.  A book. Bad.

I have 174 views from Etsy search at 7pm.

So today is one of the lowest this month, but not bad, I guess.  Not bad at all compared to the summer.

Not as good as it has been though.

I will still end with more than 200.  I guess that's a good thing.

290 Views Yesterday; LOW Google Views

So I finished with 290 views from Etsy search yesterday with 1,120 total views.

Only 35 from GOogle!  Wow.

No sales yesterday either.

Made a $15 sale right after midnight. Big deal.

This morning only 49 views from Etsy search at 8:19am.

All those extra views mean NOTHING.  Hundreds more search views than last sept and less orders and revenue.

Oh well.

LESS Orders & Revenue for aug 1, 2014 compared to 2013!

Wow.

I just checked my stats and I have about 16 FEWER orders and $2,600 LESS revenue for aug 1, 2014 compared to the same time last year!

And last year was SLOW at this time.

Last year at this time I was on the forums complaining about my big drop in views.

And this year my search views are SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER.

Wow.  Not good.

I only paid a tithe for the orders I shipped today.  No more extra. I've given enough. And listed enough. And bought ENOUGH.

Just wait it out. Maybe close up.

Lowest Revenue in a 7 Day Period in YEARS

A guy wants to cancel his necklace purchase.  So that will make my 7 revenue to be about $150!!!  Holy heck.  I haven't been that low since 2012 or before.  I know I have been upset at some $250 7 day revenues.

Oh well.

I have enough items listed.  I've donated enough.  That's all I'm doing.  

Low Google Views Today

Boy, after having 71 views from Google a few weeks ago I thought I was going to start seeing an increase in Google views.  But they dropped back down into the 30's and 40's.

And now today at 5:20pm I have only 19 views from Google. Wow.  Disappointing.  But it's been like this for nearly a year now.

The spring of last year I was having 25-47 by 12 noon.

Oh well. Do what I can do to improve them, I guess.  Otherwise, just accept change.  Especially with the internet and e-commerce.

333 Views Yesterday; 1 Small Sale

I am glad to have made it to 333 views from Etsy search yesterday.  And more than 1,200 total views.
That made 4 consecutive days with more than 300 views from Etsy search.  I so easily have more search views than last sept.

It was last aug and sept that I was posting on the forums, and created my own thread, about my drop in search views.  And they recovered some in oct and were lower last nov-dec than the previous year.

And now to have so many days with more than 300, and so suddenly, makes me think it is/was something Etsy did.

Only 1 small sale. A pot. Late at night.

Only 48 from Google.

The advice I've seen on the forms to help with Google views by renewing the oldest listings each day does NOT work.  Not for me.  I was renewing my oldest listings anyway, because they were about to expire.  And my views have actually been going DOWN.  From the 71 I had a few weeks ago.  Into the 30's and 40's.

Oh well.

No working on my shop today. Other than to pack & ship orders.

128 Views at Noon

Glad to see I have reached 128 views from Etsy search at noon.  But again, all these are not leading to sales.

So I have spent about 2 hours taking pics today.  That is enough time.  I have orders to pack and ship too.  So I won't be spending all day on my shop and sitting at the computer.

Revenue is on a downward trend.  Back to 2012 levels.  Because of cutting off the resellers? And having sold my best things and not replaced them.

Time to try ebay.

Decling Revenue; More than 1,200 Listings; I sold a necklace Yesterday

So with more than 1,200 listings, and nearly 4 years put into this shop, all I really sold yesterday was a necklace.  One that I've had listed in my shop for YEARS.

I guess it is time to stop adding new items to my vintage Etsy shop and try Ebay.

My prices are too high  Probably.  That's probably contributing to it.

Time to stop hitting my head against the Etsy brick wall.

I have so much time and effort and money invested in it, but it is best to stop working so much on it for so little return.

It makes me mad.

I just looked at my shop stats for revenue for the year and since may my revenue is on a sharp angle DOWNWARD. Each month has been lower than the previous month.

Wow. Not good.  After nearly 4 YEARS of every day effort. And TENS Of THousands donated. Wow.

The same with orders. Til this month.  Orders since may were less each month.  I am still at 3 less orders than last month, but still a few days to go.

It makes me mad.

320 Views Yesterday; 2 sales

So I am glad to have made it to 320 views from Etsy search yesterday.  But only 1,096 total views.

So with all the extra search views, they are not leading to sales.  AND people are not browsing my shop.

So it is time to scale back on working on that shop and try ebay.

All I was really selling the past 2 years was tea cups and selling them internationally to people who I found out were resellers.

Since I cut them off, revenue and sales have dropped noticeably.

So it is time to try ebay.

312 Views Yesterday, a Monday; No Sales

Glad to have finished yesterday with 312 views from Etsy search.  Less than 1,00 total views though. Only 998.  So all the extra search views did not translate into browsing my shop.

Only 51 from Google. With 102 "Other" views.

And, of course, no sales. Wow. My stats will show it was 1 day since my last sale.  But that sale was after midnight that day.  So now it is 2 days since my last sale, a dinner plate. Big deal. And the day before I had the 2 small sales in which I had to discount my prices by 50% on each item.

I have been listing new items since yesterday evening. I probably shouldn't. But it is something to do, too.

I have choices to make. I have spent almost all my remaining available cash.

Hope I don't have to refund anyone.

Time to Close My Vintage Etsy Shop?

If sales are this bad, and all I was selling was tea cups, and cutting off the resellers has hurt me significantly, then it may be time to close up.

If sales are this bad, after nearly 4 years of having a shop, nearly 9 years of internet selling total, and tens of thousands donated, then it is serious time to consider closing up.

For now, stop adding new.  Stop renewing. Let items expire. No more buying new.

Just organize. Prepare for the fall and winter.

Maybe close up. Get a job. Leave. Start over with just a job somewhere.  Yep, it's my choice to make.

This really has not been worth it.  With the number of sales I make and my inventory, it has nto been worth it.  I have accumulated far more than I sell.

Time to consider closing up.

Comparing Sept 1-22 of 2013 to 2014

So I have 500 MORE views from Etsy search for sept 1-22 of 2014 compared to 2013. And my views from Etsy search had dropped last year starting in august and did not recover some til october.  So I was right that so many days this year of 300+ views from Etsy search was high and abnormal.

With the same number of orders, 37.

But $450 LESS revenue.

360 LESS Google views.  But 2,276 OTHER Views this year and only 82 OTHER views last sept 1-22.

112 views from Bing this year.  103 last year.

So I am NOT doing any better this year than last year.  I just had a very good spring.  And cutting off the resellers has hurt me significantly.

Time to close up?

200 Views before 6pm; No Sales

I have 204 views from Etsy search at 5:58pm.  So with 6 hours to go I may reach 300 views from Etsy search again.

All The Extra Search Views & High Total Views Mean NOTHING

WOW.  No sale so far today.  Only 1 dinner plate sale yesterday. And that was right after midnight.  So it's been more than 1 1/2 days since that dale. 2 small sales on saturday and I had to reduce my prices 50% to make them.

Not good.

Oh well. I do have choices to make.

So I am glad to see that I finished yesterday, a sunday, with 319 views from Etsy search.  It did not look like I'd reach 300 again.  But it picked up late again.

So I have 122 views from Etsy search here at 12 noon.  That's good to see. Not as high as those 6 consecutive days, but good to see.

Only 1 small sale.  Not good.

Without the international tea cup sales, my revenue is not good.  Only $116 the past 3 days.

No working on my shop today. Or tomorrow.

I finished yesterday with 292 views from Etsy search and only 2 small sales.

1,105 total views.

58 views from Pinterest.  Only 47 from Google.

For all the time I spent on my shop yesterday, it was a disappointing day. Not much revenue.  Especially for all the hours I spent doing somethign shop related.

The one sale I reduced my price nearly 50%.  The other sale I reduced it $9 for only a $10 sale.

So it was disappointing.

Low Search Views Today a Saturday

Here after 6:30pm I have only 186 views from Etsy search.  AND I owe 12 of them to my Sassoon fur coat with 12.

I am already much below last satudays search views, and without the fur coat views, I'd be even lower.

I have 92 views from etsy search here at 12:05pm.  Not as good as it has been.  But it will be a 200 etsy search view day.  But not a 300 day.

I had a great string of 6 consecutive days of 300+ views from Etsy search.  I doubt I'll have another run like that this year..

I can tell in the midnight hour if I am going to have a high view day.

I have only 7 here in the midnight hour right before 1am.

I had 6 consecutive days of 300 views from Etsy search and in the midnight hour I'd have as many as 15 or more.

Oh well.

So it is good to see I finished yesterday with 284 views from Etsy search and just over 1,000 total views at 1,088.

Only 44 views from Google.

And only 2 sales for $36. Wow. I guess I have decisions to make.

I sell just enough to give me something to do. Just enough to keep me going.  To tease me.

No more buying for my shop. No more adding new things.  Tithe only.

That broke a longe, and very unexpecte string of days with at least 300 views from Etsy search.

I finished yesterday with 288 views from Etsy search, 1,270 total views, and 5 orders.  A pretty productive day.

Only 30 views from Google. Disappointing.  After that 71 view day I thought my views from Google would be on the upswing. But they have been in the 30's and 40's lately.

I am packing a couple orders to try to get them shipped today.

I made it again to 300 views from Etsy search.  I didn't think I would in the morning or evening late in the evening.  But it picked up and got a little busier the last few hours and I finished with 310 views from Etsy search.

With nearly 1,300 total views.

ZERO sales though.

Views have Slowed Down this Morning

Here at 8:08am I have 71 views from Etsy search.  Still very good compared to june-august.  But less than the 10 Etsy search vews/hour I've been getting and less than the nearly 40 search views I had before 3am.

I got a few new items listed early today and now I am going to make an early trip to the post office.  Hope the gazelle makes it.

Noticeable Drop in Views This Morning

Here at 5:13 am I have 44 views from Etsy search.

That is a big drop from the previous 3 days.

So today will be in the 200's.

No sales either.

I have choices to make.

After spending so many hours onmy shop takign pics and lsiting and packing orders and on the computer for ZERO sales.  Not good.

I have to LESS time each day on my shop than I have been.  And consider the income per hour.

I finished yesterday with 339 views from Etsy search and 1,425 total views.

But no sales.  WIth a big drop in views this morning.

Because I have not made that many sales.  Not many that during august when I was only making 1 or 2 per day or making a sale every 2 or 3 days.

Am I Better Off than I was Last Year?

So one thing I learned from the late Larry Burkett about tithing is to tithe for a year and see if you aren't better off after a year of tithing.

So am I better of than I was sept 14th of 2013??

Maybe not. Or not much better.

I have much more stuff. My income overall for the year is better. But not much.  When my income for august and for the summer was LESS than last summer and august.

And my net income is not much better than last year.  And for the year is not that great.

I am doing better than last sept.

But views and orders are lower or not much better.

So I would say I am not doing much better than last year.

And my income for the year is not going to be that great.  Especially not for 9 years of selling and all the cash I donated.

If I could quit, I would. I have alot to lose. But I am not gaining much.and don't have much of a future. Especially the near term.

So I have choices to make.  One of them should be to spend less time each day doing shop related things.

I've had some success.  But if I could quit, I would.

Wow. I have 133 views from Etsy search at 12 noon!!  The highest since MAY!!  This is what I had the first 4 months of the year.  And even last summer my views stayed in the 200's with some days in the 300's.

Very glad to see that number again.  That gives me some hope for the near term and next few months with the Christmas season.  Not sure if I will be open then, but it gives me hope.

I am very surprised to see that I have 24 views from Etsy search in the midnight hour!  With the increase in views this week I was expecting to be about the same, 12-15 or so.

This is the most since at least may. And maybe one of the highest all year.

I am glad to have finished yesterday with 268 views from Etsy search.  1,153 total views, too.

Only 34 views from Google.  That's disappointing.  I thought I would keep having steady high views since I got the 77 views that day recently.

That also proves wrong the theory that some sellers on Etsy have had that to increase google views renew the oldest listings in your shop each day.  WRONG. I renew alot anyway.  And it doesn't help me with google.

Google was my 4th highest traffic source, too.  It was the 2nd for the longest time. Now Pinterest and Etsy App are gaining me more views.

So I had 70 Etsy App views at 7 am.  And now here at nearly 9pm I have only 76??????

So I have 95 views from Etsy search at 12:04pm.  Glad to reach that, I guess. A little higher than the New Normal.

I have 535 total views.  Thanks to an hour of 144 listing views.

AND....tea cup key words are back in the top 10 of searched words.  With 'tea cup' at number 3.
That search was my most searched every day for MONTHS.  And then it dropped out of the top 10????

BIG Jump in Etsy App Views!

So the past 3 days I had Etsy App views in the 20's.  Which was a big drop from my average of over 100.

Now here this morning at 9:15 am I have 70 views from Etsy App!!

I wonder what that is all about?????

So I finished with 269 views from Etsy search yesterday.  Only 31 Google views and only 26 Etsy App views.

And only 1,238 total views.

I have a big drop in Etsy App views the past 3 days, a noticeable drop in Google views, too.

I am wondering why no matter how many listings I have I never make it above my usual highs of 1,100-1,500????

I had that many total views when I had hundreds LESS listings.

So that is as many views as I will get in a day??

I thought they'd keep growing.  I guess not.  Kind of discouraging, in a way.

Here at 6:38pm I have only 16 SIXTEEN views from Google. Wow.  That's low.

Big Drop in "Etsy App" Views

I noticed yesterday when I reached 331 views from Etsy search that I had only 25 views from the Etsy App.

But I have been averaging 80-150 views from the Etsy App since we first got the state in april/may!

And today at 6:32 pm I have only 22 views from Etsy App!

Something is up???

So here at 8:14am I have 63 views from Etsy search.  I think I was in the 80's or 90's yesterday at this time.

So I will make it to 200.  But not 300 today.

But, "tea cup" and related terms have come back as my top key words searched.  For a while there I was noticing that it was only 1-3 of my top key words searched. And not even number 1.  That as odd.

300 Views from Etsy Search Today???

I might actually reach 300 views from Etsy search today!  And it would be the first time since the 2nd week of May!

When I used to reach it 3-5 times per week!  Until may, that is.

I already have 243 views from Etsy search here at 6:32pm.

I am watching my views intently.  And a little upset that my views have gone up with that negative review there.  An unfair review, I believe.

I am packing orders to ship them in the morning.

It's been a fairly productive day.

Wow.  I saw at 2am and 4am that views were high.  Now here at 7:39am I have 75 views from Etsy search.

I have had 100 views from Etsy search at 12 noon once this summer and 94 just recently.

What a time to have a very negative review as the most recent review showing!!

I am glad to have finished yesterday with 244 views from Etsy search.

I did not think I was going to get that many.  Especially in the morning and also at 7:30pm.

Glad I made it though.  Gives me hope for the coming days.

Only 44 Google views.

2 decent sales.

BUT a negative review. Ouch.  For a tea cup that was obviously broken. I missed that. Oh, man.

So I am glad to have reached 237 views from Etsy search yesterday.  Only 887 total views.  And only 2 small sales.

So I am having a drop in Etsy search views today.  Usually it has been sunday and monday were the 2 highest days for views.  But there is a drop down to 66 views from Etsy search from 96 yesterday.  With saturday having been a day above 200 views from Etsy search.

I got some pics taken.

It is a bright, beautiful, sunny, low humidity day!  Time to go out and get some sun and enjoy this before fall and winter are here!  

277 Views Yesterday!! Highest Since MAY!

Wow.  I didn't think I'd get that high.  That is a new record since the 2nd week of may!!

My previous high since may was 253.

At noon I only had 94.  And around 7pm I had only about 175-80.

But things picked up in the evening and I finished with 177 views from Etsy search.

1,178 total views.

Only the 1 small ornament sale though.  That makes me mad.

Cut Back on Hours Worked on Shop & Tithe ONLY

Today by 1pm I had spent 5 more hours taking pics for a $60 sale. So for the rest of today it's best to turn off the computer.

For weeks now I have spent far too many hours on my shop with the income I have made.  Not selling much. Other than a tea cup here and there.

Stop seeding the extra cash.

With views down for 3 1/2 MONTHS+, really since april, and not coming back, then it is time to cut back on my hours.  Stop listing new.  Work more. Sleep more.

94 Views at Noon today, a Sunday

So Etsy search views are still not nearly as good as they were for the first 3 months of this year and last year, and they probably won't ever be that good again.  But today I have 94 views from Etsy search at 12 noon.  Glad to see that little uptick in search views.

1 sale.  For a Christmas ornament I hope I can find.

210 Views Yesterday, a Saturday

I finished yesterday with 210 views from Etsy search.  One of the rare times I have reached 200 on a saturday.

Also had exactly 1,000 total views.

56 Google views.  Not nearly as good as they used to be, but better than the 20's and 30's I was regularly getting before.

Only 1 order for 2 teacups.  From a regular customer. Got an offer for the new Danish lamp I listed, but it was 25% below what I just listed it for.  I didn't appreciate that, but it was still much better than I paid for it.  Still. lol.

It is a beautiful, clear sunny morning and I am taking some pics.  It feels like a waste though. I should be out in it and out with people.  Oh well.

I finished yesterday with only 213 views from Etsy search.

Only 759 Total views. I had been averaging more than 1,000 during the past week.

Only 39 Google Views.

3 sales for a measley $119.

I have a few orders to pack.

Then this weekend I am taking off of my shop. I am not going to spend all day working on it for no sales or less than $100.  It's not worth it.  Try not to even turn on the computer this weekend.  And tithe only for my remaining and current sales.

I finished yesterday with 213 views from Etsy search, 1,208 total views and 50 Google views.

But today is looking like ANOTHER day below 200 Etsy search views since I have only 26 views from Etsy search at 6:10am!

Oh well.

Spend ZERO Time on my shop today.  Except trying to get the rest of my orders packed.

I was retarded and spent 12 hours yesterday and made 2 sales for $34. lol.   Oh well.

So I have 76 views from Etsy search at 12 noon.  450 total views.

It's been an active day.  1 small sale. Some inquiries over the past couple days.

With orders still to pack and ship.

I got some pics taken!  Most are turning out good to very good.  Now a few are dark.

Only 169 Views Yesterday!!

Wow.  What a drop.

I finished yesterday with only 169 views from Etsy search.  When I had 252 the day before!

961 Total views yesterday.

The previous day I owed my high search views to "antique tea set" from which I had 30 search views.

But today is looking a little better. Yesterday at this time I had about 19 views from Etsy search. Right now I have 39.

I have ORDERS TO PACK AND SHIP!  I have to get caught up.

101 Views at 4:30pm!! No sales!

Wow. Only 101 views from Etsy search at 4:27pm.

No sales either.  That bugs me.  With all the cash I've given away.

Yesterday, Labor day monday, I finished with 252 views from Etsy search!  That is one of the highest days since May!

And this morning is a big drop wtih only 19 views from Etsy search here at 4:42am!

Yesterday also had 1,091 total views.

And 71 views from Google!  Glad to see that.

So I have 79 views from Etsy search here at 12 noon.  The New Normal.

424 total views.

3 sales.  Which is nice to see.

The one sale is a dinner plate and I know I did not charge enough to ship it to california.  It's going to cost $12 or so. I charged $9.  Grrr. lol.

18 views from Google.  That's good to see too.

Today is a cloudy day, which I am glad about, and I will try to take some pics today. A good number of them. Maybe pack an order or two.

Then go shopping.

Low Views for my Shop and for Etsy is BUGGING ME. TIme to Move On?

So I have more than 1,100 listing and in the 6 o'clock hour I had 25 listing views!!!  What the heck!!

With the big drop in search views first in april, then more in june and then record lows in august.  With MORE listings than last year and 2012 or any other previous year!

And, yes, because of the new listing page format from last summer I probably get more total views at times, but my shop is not as easy to browse. No shop is.

But I do not get the views/hour or per day that I feel I should.  What the heck.

I am in so far now.  I'd lose alot by stopping or not continueing.

But I think I do have to make a choice.

235 Views Yesterday; High Total Views Again

I finished yesterday with 235 views from Etsy search.  That was a lot more than it looked like it would be.  Views picked up late.

At 6-7pm or so it was looking like I might not make 200 or make it barely.

Then around 7-8 views from search started picking up.

I also finished with 1,373 total views.  Another day of more than 1,000.

49 Google views.

And just the 1 order for 2 items.

I did just wake up to 2 sales.  A nice brooch sale and a dinner plate...hope I charged enough shipping for it!

141 Views at 7pm on a holiday weekend sunday

So I have 141 views from Etsy search here on a Labor day sunday.  And 1071 total views.  Not bad, I guess.

Made a sale of 2 items.  Ok, I guess. Not nearly where I should be after so long and so much donated.

Ben & Jerry's were millionaires after 4 years of donating only 7%.  I've been at this more than 8 1/2.  And have really had to work at it to get new items to sell.

Low Search Views, High Total Views at 4:30pm on a holiday sunday

I have only 107 views from Etsy search at 4:27pm on a Labor day weekend sunday, but 939 total views.

And a decent sale of a book and Lenox vase.

Only 29 google views.

It is making me wonder how my total views have gone up the second half of this month when they were low all summer??? Even as my search views stayed pretty much the same.  More people are shopping??

73 Google Views Yesterday! The Highest of the YEAR?

Wow.  73 from Google is the highest since I don't know when.  I believe it is the most I have had from Google ALL YEAR.  Since some time last year?

I have not reached 100 from Google since LAST YEAR??  And I think 100 views from Google is the exact number I had and I believe it was last fall or early winter. No later than november, after their Panda updates.

BUT...I did gain all the indirect Google views????  Many more than I had lost??  Because of Google image searches? or Etsy product listings?

217 Views Yesterday; 73 Google Views!! Almost 1,500 Total Views

Wow. I reached 73 direct views from Google!  The first time I have been above 70 ALL YEAR?????  I might have reached 71 at some point.

But that is one of the highest days from Google since LAST YEAR. Wow.

I finished with 217 views from Etsy search.  And 12 of them were from the faux fur coat.  If not for that, and the coffee table, I'd have been below 200 again.

It was a very active day in my shop overall with 1,469 total views.  But only 2 sales for $52. What the heck.
