Today will be less than the 262 views from Etsy search I had yesterday.  I have only TEN at 2:38am.

For weeks now I have been having 20+-30+ by 3am.

Oh well.

I made a sale though.

So I finished the thursday with 262 views from Etsy search. Not bad, I guess.

Only 1,122 total views though.  2012 level views.

Only 42 Google views!  Big drop.  114 Other views.  So that kind of makes up for the low Google views.

Only 186 Etsy App views!  After nearly 500 on sunday!!

283 Views Yesterday, wed july 29th; Low Total Views; Low Google Views

I finished the wed with 283 views from Etsy search.  That is a lot for a wed.  Usually sunday is my high view day of the week. And I have even sold the popular credenza recently.  But still almost reached 300.

Only 1,043 total views.

Only 47 Google views!  Only 88 Other views.

AND only 187 Etsy App views!

Oh well.

It will be a busy day of packing and shipping today.  Even though I am into my 4th day without a sale.

I have 598 total views here at 9:45 am.

That was because I had nearly 300 total views by 3am.

65 Views from Etsy search too.  Decent.

Only 3 Search Views in the 1am hour

So the excitement caused by seeing the 15 views from Etsy search in the midnight hour has subsided with only getting 3 views from Etsy search in the 1 am hour.

Oh well.

I have gotten some items listed.  Even though I have spent HOURS on my shop for ZERO sales.

So I now have 15 views from Etsy search here at 1am.  I've had about 12 or so recently.  But this is the most in a while.

I finished the monday with only 211 views from Etsy search, but more than 1,200 total views.

Only 52 Google views. 128 Other views.

Only 291 Etsy App views.  After nearly 500 Yesterday.

ZERO sales.

Oh well.

Big Drop in Views Today; 103 Views at 3:30pm

So here on this monday after a high view sunday I have only 103 views from Etsy search at 3:30pm.

With no sales, of course.

I won't/can't close up.  So I will deal with it. For a while longer. Til the beginning of next year, I guess.

I Should Close up

The wise thing to do would be to close up my vintage Etsy shop, Shoponsherman.  The smart thing to do would be to close up.

I would end up making some ok sales for Christmas, but I have to endure LOW revenue for the enxt 2-3 months.

The good times are over.

Yesterday, I spent HOURS working on my shop.  Probably nearly 10 hours for only $84 GROSS revenue.

That is after 9 1/2 YEARS of working at selling every single day.  Oh well.

I have decisions to make.

I probably have to stick it out.

Unless I close up and leave and go start over somewhere.

Yesterday, Sun July 26th, was a High View Day

I have not been recording my views for the past few days.  But yesterday was a day worth noting and recording.

I finished the sunday with 250 views from Etsy search, Nearly 1,500 total views, 78 Google views, 128 Other views. And....

439 Etsy App views.

Also 54 from Pinterest.

But only 3 small sales.  Oh well.

Still 249 Views Yesterday, after Selling the Popular Credenza

The credenza was my most popular item each day.  It received views in the teens to twenties from search.

But yesterday, a tuesday, I still managed 249 views from Etsy search.  So I could have done better.

I also have 1,204 total views.  2012 level total views.

Google views have dropped too.  Only 50.  And only 88 Other views.

So I fnished the monday with 228 views from Etsy search and 1,345 total views.

Only 1 tiny sale.

A drop in Google views too.  Only 42 Google views. And only 95 Other views.

383 Etsy App views.  I believe that is because I was listing a lot of new things.  And didn't renew.  But listed new.  Recency carries a lot of weight for the App.

Oh well.

53 Google views.  104 Other views.

2 sales.
1 was for the credenza.  Hopefully I can ship it for close to what I charged.
And a teacup, of course.

So here at 12:04pm I have 74 views from Etsy search and 474 Total views.

17 Google views.  That's decent.  35 Other views.

So it was an active summer saturday in my shop.  I finished with 243 views from Etsy search and 1,301 total views.

But only 1 sale.

Only 47 Google views!  123 Other views.

241 Etsy APp views.

Oh well.

....for 1 $39 sale. Wow. Not good at all.

So I finished the monday with significant less Etsy search views than sunday, but I still have 232 of them and Google views were high again at 69.

So yesterday, a sunday, I had the most views from Etsy search I have had since february or march!  Probably february!

I haven't had 300 views from Etsy search since then!

But yesterday I had 298 of them.

AND nearly 1,400 total views.

Google views were high too. Especially since I had 144 Other views and 64 Google views.
That is the most Other views in some time.

1 small sale though.  NOT good.

I guess I either have to just stick it out and deal with it, or close up eventually??  Maybe by sept?  Maybe just suffer with it til the spring and get a job?   Oh well.

So it is holding true that sunday is my highest view day of the week.  It has been this way for a long time.

I now have 102 views from Etsy search, the highest in days or a week or so.  And after having only 66 yesterday at noon.

It is a morning of high total views too.  With 572.

But only 11 Google views.

Zero sales, too.  The new normal.

So here at 2:40pm I have 101 views from Etsy search.  With 655 Total views.

And into nearly the 3 o'clock hour of my 2nd day without a sale.

So I finished sunday july 5th with only 248 views from Etsy search AND only 1,077 TOTAL views.

AND....ZERO SALES.  AGAIN.

Back to 2012 Level Views

So for the past month or longer I have been experience Etsy search views and total views near 2012 levels. And about the same as 2013 too.

As my views grew in 2013 I thought my views would keep increasing and my shop would keep growing.

But I guess with the changes on Etsy and increase competition and so many more sellers and listings on Etsy, my shop will not continue to grow views-wise.

Disappointing.  But I guess that is the reality of internet growth. I got in at the right time.  Now views will be steady/stagnate.  But not the increase when Etsy was not as popular or known.

Oh well.

Just keep tithing and deal with it.

222 Views Yesterday July 4th, Only 985 Total Views

So I finished july 4th with 222 views from Etsy search.  Which is better than I thought I'd do.  I thought it would be another day below 200.

Only 985 total views too.  That is lower than I averaged in 2012.

Only 37 Google views. And only 96 Other views.

Only 210 Etsy App views.

It was a good day fo sales with 4 orders for good revenue.

Try to get everything packed today.

Oh well.

No Growth This Year; Revenue is DOWN 13% for First 6 months of 2015 Compared to 2014

I had 393 Orders by july 4th 2014.

This year I have 334!

With revenue DOWN just more than 13% for the first 6 months of 2015 compared to the first 6 months of 2014.

With Only ONE month with more revenue than the same month last year.  Every year has been LESS.

So NO GROWTH.

Oh well.

For the firsr 4 days of this month I have 3 orders.

For the first 4 days of july 2014 I had 9 orders.

The month is off to a bad start.  ANOTHER one.

That is as low or LOWER than my average in early to mid 2012.

I was a big drop in views from just the day before.

I also finished the thursday with 59 Google views and 88 Other views.

AND only 191 Etsy App views!!  After 898 Etsy App views only wtihin the past week!
