Drop in Etsy App Views: Only 125 at 5:42pm

Just a couple days ago on tuesday I have 186 Etsy App views at 11am!

Now here after 5:30 I have only 125!

What is/has Etsy done to my shop!

91 Views at Noon

So I am glad to see that I am above 80 views from Etsy search and near 100 at 12 noon.

Although yesterday I had 116 and was wondering if I would hit 3 hundred for the first time in MONTHS, but it did not happen.

So today should be in the low 200's again.

Time to get to work.

Only 246 Views Yesterday with Lower Etsy App Views

So I had a jump in views the day before yesterday and then yesterday they went back down.

I finished the wed with only 246 views from Etsy search even though at 12 noon they looked as though they were going to be a lot higher than that.

And Etsy App views were more than 100 fewer than the day before also. Those gains might also be only temporary??

I finished with more than 1,400 total views and 1 small book sale.

44 views from Google.  I am surprised that Google views have been consistent for a year or more. A day here or there of a drop, but then I have been in the 40's-60's for a year now. And not more than 72 either.

Only 191 Views at 7:20pm

This morning and at 12 noon it looked very good for views for today.  But it must have slowed down in the afternoon.  It looked like it might have been my first 300 Etsy search view day in a cuople months.

But, nope. I have only 191 views from Etsy search at 7:22pm.

Only 34 from Google and only 238 from Etsy App.

And one book sale.

116 Views at 12 Noon! Highest in WEEKS, or 2 Months

I am surprised, and very happy to see my Etsy search views are high again. And it is a wedsnday. A weekday.

The weekends have been my highest view days for months.

Etsy App views are lower with only 145.

And only 10 Google views.

But more than 600 total views.

A good start. Good to see. Encouraging. Motivating.

100 Views Before 11am! Lower Etsy App Views

I am surprised that here on a wed I have just reached 100 views from Etsy search at 10:51am!

This is the earliest in WEEKS that I have reached 100!

I have 144 Etsy App views.  And yesterday at 11am I have 186.

One sale for a book.

Only 10 from Google.  I was in the teens by 12 noon.  Man, I remember those days of having 45+ Google views at noon before the Hummingbird change.

Time to get back to work. Taking pics and packing orders.  It is another sunny day!

A High View Day Yesterday: 269 Views, 444 App Views, 1,771 Total Views

I am surprised and also happy about the very high views I had yesterday.

I am still disappointing that I was below 300 Etsy search views, but I did finish the tuesday with 269 of them.

I also had a lot of Etsy APp views again. I finished with 444 of them!  Renewing and listing new must be the key to high App views??? But march's were still low and dropped?

It was a day if high total views too with 1,771!  Happy about that!  There the days when I finished with right about 1,000 total views.  So renewing and listing new for the App views has lead to higher total views??

And from Google Analytics I see my session duration has improved to a minus 11% from a high of minus 34%.  Pages per Session also improved.

And I had 3 orders for ok revenue.

This was a very encouraging day..Getting the high App  & total views and search views being at least past the mid 200's makes me feel better.

186 Etsy App Views right before 11am

I already have 186 views from Etsy App here at 10:57am.

Because of all the renewing and listing new the past week???  Yep. I think so.

And 83 views from Etsy search.  Better than yesterday.

Only 217 Views Yesterday, but 428 Etsy App Views

It was a very active day in my shop yesterday, a monday, but with only 217 views from Etsy search.

I guess since I have been renewing so many listings and listing so many new items that my App views were high.  I am happy to have finished with 428 views from Etsy App.

And 1,667 total views. With 4 orders, including a big tea cup sale.

Only 37 views from Google.  And I had 67 views from Google Germany.

Big Drop in Views Today: Only 121 after 5pm!

Wow. This is disappointing and discouraging.

This means that my big jump yesterday does not mean views are returning.

Here at 5:07pm I have only 121 views from Etsy search.  A good tea cup sale though.

Drop In Views Today: 73 Views Right After 12 Noon

So yesterday, a sunday, I had more than 100 views from Etsy search at 12 noon.

Today I have only 73. But I still have 525 total views, too.

Only 98 Etsy App views. I think I had many more than 100 yesterday.

Only 11 Google views.  Ouch.

Time to run to the post office for the first trip of the day.

289 Views Yesterday, 384 App views and More than 1,700 Total Views

Yesterday, a sunday, was a very active day in my shop.  Almost all of my traffic sources were higher than the same day last year.  Except for Etsy App views.

I finished the sunday with 289 views from Etsy search and 384 Etsy App views and 59 Google views.

And also 1,733 Total views.

With 3 orders for less than low revenue.

It was very encouraging that I got all the views that I did.  That views have come back to a very good level.

220 Views at 7pm on a Sunday

Today is the most views from Etsy search I have had at 7pm in WEEKS!

Here on the sunday at 7:06pm I have 220 views from Etsy search, more than 1,300 total views and 266 Etsy App views.

Only 34 Google views.  But more than 90 "Other" views.

2 small sales and a canceled sale.

103 Views at 12 Noon on a Sunday and Nearly 600 Total Views

It is a bright, sunny spring sunday morning here and I have 103 views from Etsy search and 592 Total views.
With 122 Etsy App views already.  I guess listing new and renewing does significantly affect App views.

Back to taking pics and packing orders. Maybe a bike ride.

259 Views Yesterday with Nearly 1,700 total views and Higher App Views

So yesterday, a saturday, turned out to be better than I thought it would be view-wise.

I thought I'd be around 200 views from Etsy search, but finished with 259.  I also thought total views would be about `1,200, but finished with 1,673. A good amount.

I also finished with more than 300 Etsy App views at 331, but that was not nearly as many as april 25 of 2014 when I had 483!  Still a decent day and better than it was for the first two weeks of the month.

I have gotten some pics taken.  Time to take some more? Maybe a bike ride on this beautiful sunny spring morning? Pack some orders?

So I have 688 total views and a sale of a nice lefton head vase/wall pocket.  But only 87 views from Etsy search here at 1:06pm on a saturday.

Etsy App views are high again.

Higher Etsy App Views Yesterday Compared to Last Year

I had written to Etsy Support about my thousands of lost App views for march and april.  She wrote back saying that 'recency' plays a part in the App and that I had not renewed anything for the first 18 days of april.

So that played a part in me renewing and listing new and hte past 2 days Etsy App views have come back up. With yesterdays even surpassing last year for the day.

Yesterday I finished with 290 Etsy App views.
On april 24, 2014 I had only 253.

That is a very good sign.  It was encouraging.  But I think App views have dropped off today.

267 Views Yesterday and More than 1,700 Total Views; App Views Higher than 2014

It was a very active day in my shop yesterday. A very good day of views.

I finished the friday with 267 views from Etsy seasrch, still below 300 though, and 1,767 total views.

AND 289 Etsy App views.  Which was more than for the same day last year.

All of my view categories were higher than 2014.
Last year I had only 1,200+ total views, for one thing.

It was a very encouraging day.....until this morning.  When I was leaving for work yesterday morning I was on pace for about 100 or more search views at noon.  And here this morning at 11am I will have significantly LESS than 100.  And it's a saturday..

After such a disappointingly low view day yesterday I wake up to check my shop and see I have 30 views from Etsy search here at 3:35am.

Good to see, but it is probably just that surge I get after midnight.

I have to see what views I have at 7-8 as a true indication of views.

So here at 12 noon I have only 77 views from Etsy search.  Only 98 Etsy App views.

I will be ending with around 200 search views and less than 200 App views.  Disappointing.

Disappointing and discouraging is what I feel about that.

I finished the wed with only 225 views from Etsy search and only 1,107 total views. Wow.

I was averaging more total views than that in the beginning of 2013 for sure!

And only 173 App views.

And only 35 GOogle views. Man, that is still disappointing.

This bugs me.

After 7pm I have only 148 views from Etsy search. 777 Total views. 2 orders. One was for a pair of chairs.

And only 116 App views!  When I was in  the 300's consistenly. And even into the 400's.

So search views are staying down. And have dropped some from the previous few days.

It has taken me until 3pm to reach 100 views from Etsy search.

I loved those days when I was reaching 100 by 7,8,9am.  With 120's-150's by 12 noon.

More than 100 Fewer Etsy App Views Yesterday, but Most Stats were better than 2014

So for the week my stats from different traffice sources have been improving.

However, on april 20th 2014 I have 298 Etsy App views, and yesterday I had only 193.
Disappointing.

At least revenue for the month has improved thanks to the past 3 days.

I also had more Google views, more Other views, more Pinterest, Google Product Listing Ad views and more total views.

It also looks as though people were browsing my shop more yesterday compared to the same day last year:

I had a flurry of sales yesterday and for the past 3 days. Which have eased my mind about the thousands of lost views and low sales.

I finished the tuesday with 251 views from Etsy search and nearly 1,300 total views and 6 orders for a good amount of revenue.

41 views from Google. 71 Other views.

165 FEWER Etsy App Views Yesterday

So I went ahead and renewed a bunch of listings yesterday evening.  Most had been expired.  And I listed some new items too.

It was another day of big App view losses.

For april 20, 2014 I had 397 Etsy App views.
Yesterday only 232 Etsy App views.

Disappointing.

But my Google Analytics stats looked better for yesterday.  With my session duration increasing to -17% down from the high of -36% over the past few weeks.

So I finished the monday with 254 views from Etsy search.  Which is more than I thought when views were so low at 3am.

Also had nearly 1,300 total views.

With 3 orders for decent revenue.

Only 42 Google views and Google was 6th on my list of traffic sources. Even behind Pinterest.

So it was looking good at noon with 96 views from Etsy search, but I have not even reached 200 by 7pm, the latest I want to do that.

I have made a good teacup order late this afternoon for a good amount of revenue. And another sale of nice glass compote with a nice first pic that has been popular.

Time to shower, have dinner and then tv.  

100 Views before 12:30

Glad to have reached 100 views from Etsy search here at 12:25.

This is one of the earliest days I've reached that many all month. And even for 6 weeks or so.

96 Views right after 12 Noon

It is good to see that I am near 100 views Etsy seasch at 12 noon. It is a little pick-me-up. Especially when around 3am I had only 15 views from Etsy search.

Time to pack orders and get them shipped.

242 Views Yesterday; Stats were Better than 2014 Except for App Views

So I finished the sunday with 242 views from Etsy search and only 1,228 total views.

And it took until right before midnight to make a sale. 1 tea cup.

And when I compared yesterdays stats to the same day last year I see that Etsy App views were 50 less, but Etsy Search views were only 2 less.

All of my other views from important sources were higher.

Even the revenue from the 1 sale was more than I made on that date too.

I checked my Google Analytics stats and stats have improved in the past week.  The Session Duration has improved from a negative 30% to negative 20%.

Well, I have orders to pack.

Then take wed off. Spend less time on my shop. And tithe only.

Zero Order Days for 19 Days of April 2014 & 2015

So I already have 9 fewer orders for april 1-19 of this year compared to 2014.

I also see that I have 6 days with zero orders for the first 19 days of 2015
compared to only 4 days of zero orders for the same time period in 2014.

Not good.

So this is the the New Normal. And what I can expect for the coming months?  Probably. Maybe even lower come june.

Here at noon I have only 89 views from Etsy search and 450 total views.

AND...only 74 Etsy App views.

Wow. Comparing the first 18 days of April 2015 with the first 18 days of April 2015 I see that I have 2,400 FEWER Etsy App views!

THIS is where a lot of my views have gone!

Something has happened for me to lose so many thousands of Etsy App views.

So I finished the saturday with 2 sales for the day and only 238 views from Etsy search.

And with nearly 1,400 total views.

So, as things have been going the past 6-7 weeks, 92 views from Etsy search at 12 noon is not bad. Not as good as it was though and still disappointing.

My total views are near 500 too.

With 1 sale. A tea cup.

Saturday has been one of my highest view days for a long time.  During that time I'd have at least 70-80 views from Etsy search at 8am.

So views are half of what they have been.

Here at 10:19pm I have only 202 views from Etsy search. But with nearly 1,300 total views.

I actually had a few high view hours.  Something I haven't had in a while.

But search views are bad.  And only 1 sale. A tea cup.

I hope this is not the new normal thanks to Etsy's "improvements". Especially since they are not showing other shop's listings on my listings on mobile devices!

And no sales, of course.

I have not added any new listings this month. Nor renewed. Not until at least april.

Revenue is Down 51% for the Month of April

I have 7 fewer orders and 51% less revenue for the first 16 days of april 2015 compared to 2014.

Disappinting.

And it is also concerning how much views are down.

I have lost thousands of Etsy views and Etsy App views in only 16 days.

Just have to deal with it.

Spend less time on my shop.  Tithe only. Spend less of my profits.

My Etsy search views are low and from my Google Analytics account I see my duration per session and page views/ session are down about 1/3!!

And "your shop" and "your listings" stats are down by 500+ total views for the first 15 days of this month compared to last year

People are clicking right out of shop thanks to the "improvements" in our listings using the Etsy App!!

I was close to being UNDER 1,000 total views!  I haven't been below 1.000 in MONTHS!  Since last june or july. Maybe august.

People are not browsing my shop!

In january I had 2 days of more than 2,000 total views!!!

This is discouraging and disappoiting that I have only 86 views from Etsy search here at 2:17pm.

No sale today either.

Only the $12 book sale yesterday.  It has been a slow 8 days in my shop revenue-wise. One of the slowest ever.

Nearly 10,000 FEWER Total Views in the Past 30 Days!!

What has Etsy done to my shop????

In the past 30 days I have 9,700 FEWER total views than in just the PREVIOUS 30 Days!!

Wow.

And April revenue is down about 58 % compared to last april.

Oh well.

242 Views Yesterday

So views stayed down yesterday, a monday, with only 242 views from Etsy search.  Todays will be even lower.  Monday's appear to be a high day of the week, but I really just get views from my high day, sunday, after midnight until about 1-2am.

And views are lower today. I will be in the 220's or lower.

Revenue is Down 12% for the Year

So here in the middle of April, revenue is already down 12% with no hope of it increasing dramatically. That is a significant amount to regain to catch up.

With the slow summer months to come.

Probably no growth this year.

Just gotta deal with it.

List less. Don't spend so much time each day on the computer and on my shop.

Just Checked: 1,100 Fewer Etsy App Views for All of March

So for the first 13 days of april I have 1,300 FEWER Etsy App views compared to 2014.  And/But "only" 1,100 fewer Etsy App views for ALL of march compared to 2014.

So the problem has gotten WORSE.

Along with the 2,800 FEWER Etsy search views for march 2015 compared to 2014.

Hhhhmmmmm

More than 1,400 Fewer Etsy App Views for First 13 Days of April

So it was only yesterday that I realized I have lost many Etsy App views.

And checking my stats and comparing the first 13 days of April 2015 with 2014 and I see that I have 1,476 FEWER Etsy App views here right before 11pm compared to 2014.

That is almost as bad, and for this month, is worse than the lost Etsy Search views!
Since I have only abotu 500 fewer Etsy search views comparing the same time periods.

So that is about 1,900 FEWER Search views!  For only 13 days!

Hhmmmm...

I have not listed anything new and have not renewed anything because of the thousands of lost search views from last month and since it continued into this month. Along with the significant decrease in orders and revenue.

I have decisions to make.

So views did drop-off/slow down.

From 38 before 4:30am to only 60 views at etsy search here at 9:10am.

So here it appears I am on that pace from nov-beginning of feb when I averaged at least 10 Etsy search views/hour overnight.

This is a good number to see, BUT, just have to wait what views are like at even only 8am.  They could be only in the 50's.

So I finished yesterday with 271 views from Etsy search.  Which is better than I thought. And almost as good as the second sunday of april 2014 when I had 286.

Also had nearly 1,300 total views.

1,600 FEWER Etsy App Views for the first 12 Days of April

So after the previous post I just checked again for the month and I have more than 1,600 FEWER Etsy App views for the first 12 days of april 2015 compared to 2014.

That is where a lot of my total views and orders have gone???

As I have been checking my stats the past few days and comparing them to last year I have seen that my views are actually better than last year in a number of categories..

And then this evening I compared april 8-12 for this year and last and saw something!

I have about 600 FEWER Etsy App views for just that 5 day period!
And fewer total views.

Even though I will have MORE Etsy search views at the end of today for the time period compared to last year, I will have fewer total views.

Because of hundreds of lost Etsy App views???

So I have 97 views from Etsy search here at 12 noon on a sunny spring sunday in April. Not good. But probably about as good as last year though.

2 small sales.

Only $199 in revenue the past 7 days.  After 9 years of selling. Not good.

Revenue has been down 2 of the first 3 full months and down drastically in the first 11 days of the 4th month.

With THOUSANDS of lost etsy search views in just the past 5 weeks, it appears as though revenue will be down significantly for the year compared to last year.

Here on april 11th I have 24 FEWER orders that are resulting in revenue being down nearly 13% for the year compared to the same time in 2014.

Not Good.

April is a Big drop in revenue.

Revenue is Down 61% for the Month of April!!

Wow.

I have 11 fewer orders with 61% less revenue for the first 11 days of april compared to last april.

Here at 9:12am I have only 44 views from Etsy search. 375 total views.  No sales.

Orders and revenue are down a lot for the first 11 days of april compared to last april.

Comparing March 1-April 9 2015 to 2014

With so many thousands of lost Etsy search views I believe the main culprit is the category change that took place on feb 17th.

And with march being a month with nearly 3,000 fewer etsy search views, and it continuing into april, I wanted to compared the time period with last year.

I am surprised that I actually have more revenue for this year.

BUT on 16 FEWER orders.  92 to 76.

And still 3,200+ FEWER etsy search views.

And 2,300+ fewer total views.

But 120 more Google views.
And 1,700 More "Other" views.

And 596 more Pinterest views.

The lost Etsy search views are the most important stat. And they are bugging me.

So for the year I have 8% FEWER orders.

And, revenue is down 11%.

Not to mention the 5,300 FEWER Etsy search views!!

But 197 MORE Google views.
And 8,900 MORE "Other" views, indirect Google views.

And nearly 2,000 more Etsy App views.

And 1,811 MORE views from Pinterest.

And 69 More Bing search views.

And 176 More Yahoo search views.

AND, 3,400 MORE total views, BUT that is mostly because of january and the beginning of february. Total views for march and april 1-10 are LESS compared to 2014.

AND revenue is down 54% compared to the same time last year!!

Wow.

Nearly 500 FEWER Search Views for First 10 Days of April Compared to Last Year

So for the first 10 days of 2015 I have 2,158 views from etsy search.

And for the first 10 days of april 2014 I had 2,649 views from etsy search.

A curious thing is, on the 10th of april last year I had only 199 views from etsy search and only 222 views from Etsy search on april 11th.

So I am about on the same pace or will do a little better than last april.  Surprising!

But revenue is down 54% for april 1-10 2015 compared to april 1-10 2014!!

Only 188 Views before 9:30pm!

Wow. This is making me mad.

Here at 9:24pm I have only 188 views from Etsy search. Only 1 sale for a teacup.

I have lost THOUSANDS of Etsy search views in the past 5-6 weeks.

I really don't want to list new or renew. But I should.

Only 213 Views Yesterday! 2011-12 Level Search VIews!

Wow. I finished yesterday, a thursday, with only 213 views from Etsy search. Which is what I started reaching back at the end of 2011 and into 2012!  When I had 200-600 listings!  Now I have more than 1,000 listings!  ANd was over 300 for most days from nov-beginning of feb.

Here at 9:44pm I have only 188 views from Etsy search and just more than 1,000 total views.

Here at 12:14pm I have 85 views from Etsy search and almost 600 total views at 593.

Only 14 from Google. That isn't bad, actually. But not nearly as great as when I was averaging 27-45 and as high as 67 by 12 noon.

Back to work packing orders.

251 Views Yesterday

So I finished the wed with only 251 views from Etsy search and more than 1,300 total views.  Even though in january I had 2 days of more than 2,000 Total views!

2 small sales yesterday, too.

And I spent A LOT of cash yesterday, too.

Time to stop spending.  List. Organize and save money.

It is another day of disappointingly low views.  Here at 9:38 I have only 216 views from Etsy search and only more than 1,100 total views.

Here at 1:42 pm I have just reached 100 views from Etsy search.  A small teapot sale.

More than 400 total views.

Made a trip to the thrift store and did ok.

So I finished the tuesday with only 228 views from Etsy search. Which is 2012 level search views.

And only 1,220+ total views.  Again, 2012 level views.

And no sales.

That is $12 in sales in 2 days!!  Wow.  After 9+ years of selling.

So here at 6:58 I have only 158 views from Etsy search and no sales.  Only a $12 sale yesterday.

400 Fewer Search Views for First 6 days of April

So for March I lost nearly 3,000 views from Etsy search compared to last year.  And it is continuing into April.  For the first 6 days of this month I have more than 400 FEWER views from Etsy search.

Something has happened.

Etsy has done something to affect my search views.

So views are staying down.  Only 73 views from Etsy search here at 12:10pm.

"tea cup" is not even in my top 19 Keywords!
"tea cups and saucers" is number 20.

I finished the monday with 258 views from Etsy search and nearly 1,500 total views.  1 tiny sale.

It was nice to see total views up some.

So here on a monday I have only 154 views from Etsy search at 5:01pm.  I won't be reaching 200 by 7pm.

I will end the day in the low 200's AGAIN.

No sales today either.

I have gotten some orders packed & shipped. Still more to do.

240 Views Yesterday, Easter Sunday

So for Easter sunday I finished with 240 views from Etsy search, only 1,260 total views and 4 orders for a good amount of revenue. All teacups, of course.

Only 38 from Google.

Wow. That is lower than 2012!!

And it was a saturday, one of my highest view days of the week for months if not more than a year.

I finished the saturday with only the 1 tea cup sale, too.

Wow. Saturdays are one of my highest view days.  But search views are still down.

Here at 12:08 on a saturday I have 87 views from Etsy search.  Not good. Not as good as it was.

I should reach 200 today though.

Nearly 3,000 FEWER Search Views for March

Wow.  Compared to march of last year I had 2,800 FEWER views from Etsy search!

8 Fewer orders. But for more revenue.

About 100 more Google views, but that could be because I ran a Google ad a couple days.

A good number more "Other" views.

More revenue, but the stats are disappointing and discouraging. I could have done BETTER.

Only 192 Views Yesterday!!

What did Etsy do to my shop???

I finished yesterday a wed with only 192 views from Etsy search!  On the same date last year I had 286.

Only 138 Views before 7:30pm!

This is disappointing that views have dropped and are staying down.

Here on a wed at 7:24pm I have only 138 views from Etsy search.  I may not reach 200 today.

With 802 total views. And 2 orders for good revenue.

I only got 3 orders packed & shipped. I could not find a few other orders.

So it was ANOTHER day below 300 search views.

I finished the tuesday with 254 views from Etsy search, more than 1,300 total views and 4 orders. 1 is a large pedestal glass candy dish and also 2 large fragile ceramic lamps.  Good luck with that.
